Omelette

Omelette (with a touch of fresh coriander)

The picture on the left is the batter. The picture on the right is the prepared omelette. This is a tasty and nutritious. A few sprigs of fresh coriander and just a dash of spice are all it would take.

Pointer 1: Taste best when the egg batter is spread thin on the skillet.

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 Tbsp. diced fresh coriander
  • 1 green chilli or
  • 1 tsp. crushed black pepper
  • 1 slice of american or mozarella cheese

Beat eggs, add the rest of the ingredients. Mix well. Pour a tsp. of oil on the skillet. Now spread a thin layer of the mixed batter on the skillet. Let it cook for about 5 mins. Flip, add another tsp. of oil around the batter, and let it turn light brown. You may add a slice of cheese and fold the omelette or just have it plain with some ketchup on the side. You can make 3 omelettes out of the 2 medium sized eggs.
