Dhal with Peppers

Easy salad dressing

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup blanched almonds
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 2 tsps. honey (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 cups cold water
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons freshly-squeezed lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons tamari or soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons nutritional yeast or brewers yeast


Method:

Blend everything to a smooth consistency. Takes less than 8 minutes start to finish. Great on a green salad or an all vegetable salad.
